Known for its reliability, serviceability and widespread parts availability, the 2824-2 has powered watches from numerous Swiss brands and remains one of the most commonly encountered mechanical movements on the watchmaker’s bench.

If you’re servicing an ETA 2824-2 with a worn or damaged mainspring, replacing the complete barrel assembly offers a convenient alternative to removing and installing a loose mainspring.
